BuiltAPI has been selected as a finalist in the Hubitation Innovation Contest, a leading German innovation program by Nassauische Heimstätte Wohnstadt focused on advancing practical, scalable solutions for the built environment. The contest brings together technology providers, real estate owners, operators, and industry partners to identify innovations that address real operational challenges in data, sustainability, and digital infrastructure.
Being selected as a finalist recognizes BuiltAPI's work in data standardization, interoperability, and trust-driven automation for real estate portfolios, an area increasingly critical as the industry moves from reporting toward actionable, data-driven operations.
From Workshop to Final Stage
As part of the contest process, Olga Dentzel, representing BuiltAPI, participated in an expert workshop held in Frankfurt, where the innovation contestants worked alongside industry stakeholders to refine their solutions, sharpen use cases, and align them with real-world market needs.

The workshop phase emphasized practical applicability over theory, focusing on how innovations can be implemented within existing organizational and technical constraints. For BuiltAPI, this provided an opportunity to demonstrate how structured data pipelines and API-first architectures can bridge the gap between fragmented property data sources and reliable decision-making.
Final Presentation at EXPO REAL
The contest culminated in a final presentation at EXPO REAL, Europe's largest real estate trade fair. BuiltAPI presented its approach to transforming heterogeneous property data into a consistent, auditable, and reusable digital foundation, enabling automation, analytics, and future AI use cases without compromising data sovereignty.

The presentation highlighted how BuiltAPI addresses a core industry challenge: not the absence of data, but the lack of clarity and trust in the data already available.

Advancing Trusted Data Infrastructure for Real Estate
Participation in the Hubitation Innovation Contest reinforces BuiltAPI's commitment to building practical digital infrastructure for the real estate industry. As portfolios grow more complex and regulatory, financial, and sustainability requirements increase, the need for standardized, transparent, and interoperable data foundations becomes unavoidable.
Being recognized as a finalist validates BuiltAPI's direction and strengthens its engagement with asset managers, operators, and ecosystem partners seeking to move beyond manual processes and opaque systems.
BuiltAPI thanks Hubitation, the jury, and all participating partners for the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing digital transformation of the built environment.
